Mother's Day 2014

I had a great Mother's Day Weekend!  Friday night we went out to eat dinner at a mexican restaurant and then went to Target.  While Andrew shopped for a few things, Lo and I went to the toy isle.  She was hilarious!  I really didn't think we would reach the stage where she wanted every toy in sight this early, but we did.  She had three shopping carts, three baby dolls, and a ball and was determined to find a way to get all of them.  It was hilarious!!  This girl cracks me up with her determination. 

On Saturday we had lunch with Andrew's mom and sister and her kids and then we had dinner with my mom. 

Sunday morning, Lo woke up around 6:30.  Andrew got her up and played with her to try to let me sleep in, but I couldn't.  We had a small breakfast, hung out outside for a bit and then got ready for a mother's day brunch at Flemings.  Lo was not having it at first, but then I told her we would let her have some cake and she perked right up and kept repeating, "cake" and signing it to us.  I have no idea why she likes cake so much or how she even really knows what it is because I never give it to her.  It was quite funny!

We just hung out and relaxed the rest of the day!  It was a great 2nd Mother's Day!  I still can't believe I am a mom sometimes and I am still so in awe of my sweet little girl that God gave us to take care of.  Such an amazing little blessing she is!  Being a mom is the greatest blessing I could have ever have received!
