The Difference A Year Makes

I love buying Lolo holiday pajamas!  Here she is in her skeleton ones for Halloween this year and last year.  I still can't believe its been a year since we had her.  We just love this sweet girl to pieces.

They grow up so fast...sigh...

Pumpkin Patch!

Last weekend we took Lolo to the pumpkin patch by our house.  We had a fun time and she enjoyed playing in the pumpkins.  I am excited to take her back next year when she will be old enough to enjoy all the other things there to do for kids.  It was a beautiful day and Andrew got some great pics!  Enjoy :)

I just love pumpkin pics with my little pumkin in them!  Happy Fall Y'all!

Five on Friday!

It's Five on Friday Time!

1. Our house is getting closer and closer to being finished!  Words cannot express how ready I am to move in.  The wood floor is laid, the tile is done, the trim is almost complete, the sod is being laid.  We are waiting on cabinets to be installed now.

2. We are going to Disney World in 13 days!  So excited to have a little family vacation, and go to a pediatric conference on the side of course ;)  I can't wait to see how Lolo reacts to Disney.  She loves Mickey and Minnie these days.  It will be so nice to get away though!

3. Lo's first birthday party was a success.  We had a few minor glitches and the weather didn't really cooperate, but it was still nice to celebrate her first year of life with those we love the most.  Post on that coming soon!  Poor girl was up all night not feeling good.  It's no fun when your baby is sick and hurting and there is nothing you can do about it.  Worst feeling ever.   She started with a new babysitter this week and seems to be doing great!  So thankful we were able to find someone else that I also have no worries about!  Feel super blessed in that aspect!

4. I am still debating on what Lo should be for halloween...thoughts?!?  I want her to be something cute and cuddly because I know this is pretty much my last chance.  I am pretty certain that she is going to have an opinion on her costume next year.  Here is a pic of my sweet little baby last year.  I still can't believe it has been a year...

5. We are hoping to go to a pumpkin patch this weekend if the weather cooperates.  I love pumpkin patches and I am especially excited to get to take my little pumpkin this year!  The last one I went to, I took my dog...oh how times have changed ;)

Lolo's Sweet Shop First Birthday Party!

For Lolo's first birthday I decided to do a sweet shop theme.  The color scheme was turquoise, pink, and yellow.  I thought it turned out so cute.  I was in luck, because Hobby Lobby had all of their Christmas decorations out and on sale.  They had the cutest candy Christmas decor out and I was able to use a lot of it for the party.  Then come December, when we are finally in our new house, I will decorate Lo's room for Christmas with it!

The details...

I bought the banner, paper good, invites, and her outfit and accessories off etsy.  Every single person that I bought from had excellent customer service.  So thankful!

I wanted to do most of the party outside, but of course the weather didn't cooperate, however, the decorations still turned out great!  We had most of our close family and friends there too, to celebrate our sweet girl's first year!  And the weather...ironically was exactly like it was the day I had her, cold and rainy.

The cake was done by a girl I went to highschool with.  You should check her out, she does GREAT work!  It was delicious and so cute!  It turned out exactly like I wanted.  She was pretty delicate with her cake.  Didn't "smash" it like I thought she would.  She was more interested in putting it in her toes.

It was the perfect celebration for the most perfect little girl.  What a wonderful year!  We are so so blessed!

And we can't forget sweet Macy, she's going to be 14 in one short month!

Every party has a pooper...that's why we invited you...party pooper ;)

Lolo Bear - One Year, 12 Months!

Lolo,

My oh my, has the time flown by!  You are ONE!  I can't believe it!  Seems like just yesterday, I was writing your birth story.  What an amazing year it has been.  The amount of joy you bring to your daddy and I's life is just incredible.  You continue to be the sweetest, cuddliest, most content and happy baby.  We are so blessed!

This past month your little personality has just blossumed.  It seems like you are learning new things every single day.  You have started pulling up and cruising.  You look like such a big girl doing this too!  You love to play and are very content playing with all your toys.  You also love to play outside with your new toy that your daddy bought you.  You are one brave girl when it comes to sliding down the slide.

You are talking more and more!  You say, "Hi, Bye, Dada, Mama, Nana, Minnie Mouse, No-No, & all done."  The way you say minnie mouse is just so cute!  We try to get you to say it all the time.

You are a good little eater!  You love blueberries and cheese.  You also like bananas, strawberries, mac-n-cheese, broccoli, and avocado.

You finally transitioned from your swing to your pack-n-play for naps.  It was much less painful than I anticipated.  I think because you were finally ready for some more room :)

You went camping for the first time, in a cabin, but still!  You had so much fun playing outside and in the water.

You got your two top teeth and then got a third top tooth this month.  They came with a rough ear infection that we fought for several weeks, poor girl.

You love stacking cups and putting things in cups.  This will occupy your attention for a while.  You still love balls and especially love Lexi's princess castle.

You started clapping, finally.  Took you a while to do this one.  Not sure why, because you have been signing "more" for a while now.  You still sign to us to tell us when you want more, when you want to eat, when you want milk or water and when you are done.  Its so cute to me still.

I still can't believe you are one.  This past year has been the most amazing year for your daddy and I.  We love you so very much and watching you grow and reach milestones has been so incredible.  I can not believe the amount of joy you have brought to our lives sweet girl.  You are so very loved and prayed for every day.  Not a day that goes by, that I don't thank God for the miracle that you are.  What an incredible little blessing you are.  I pray that not a day goes by, that you don't realize how loved you are.

Happy happy birthday sweet girl!
