Christmas 2015

We had a great Christmas together as a family. On Christmas Eve Day we hung out as a family.  Andrew took Lo to the store to go shopping for me in the morning, and I took Drew to a few stores as well.  Then, Lo and I made monster cookies for Santa when they got back.

It was beautiful outside, so we played on the trampoline before naptime and then went to my parents that evening to eat dinner and let the kids play together.

When we got home we put out Santa's cookies and put the kids to bed.  Andrew and I stayed up late and finished wrapping gifts and placing them all under the tree.

Christmas morning, Lo woke up and asked if Santa came, saw all the presents and got so excited.  She loved opening presents and wanted to play with every single toy.  She was great with helping Drew open his presents as well.  She was so excited to give me the gift she picked out for me.  She handed me the wrapped present and asked me if I wanted to open up my necklace, haha.  It's the sweetest gift, the necklace says mother, daughter, friendship.  Every time I wear it she comments on my "special necklace."

After Drew took a nap, we headed to my parents house for lunch.  It was delicious and the kids had so much fun opening up more presents.  We came home for naps afterwards and then got ready to head to Andrew's Dad & Stepmoms house for dinner and...more presents.  Lo had so much fun playing with her cousins.

It was a great day, full of lots of family, lots of food, and lots of presents.  More importantly though, it was a great day to be so thankful for all of God's blessing and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.

Santa

I thought Lo may like Santa this year...but not so much.  I have had to hold her and sit on Santas lap both times.  Both Santas wouldn't let me "traumatize" her, so that was the only option.

I really thought Drew would like Santa...

He was ok the second time around though.

Better luck next year?!

Drew - 11 months old

Baby Drew,

You are 11 months old!  I can't believe in one month you will be a year old.  This year has just flown by!  You are so funny and sweet!  W just adore you and your adorable, ornery personality.

This past month you have just been crawling all over the place and starting to pull up on things.

You love to pull up on the bath tub and will try to dive into the water if we aren't watching you.  You started signing and will sign more, all done, water, ball, and milk.  You still only want to say "dada," which is fine, but I can't wait until you decide to say mama.  You love your naps and take two a day and sleep in your crib so well at night.  Your bed time is 7 pm and you let us know if we wait too long to put you down.  You wake up around 6:30 ready to eat and ready to play!  You loooove to eat.  I still can't believe how much you eat.

You are such an easy baby and just go with the flow.  You are your big sisters biggest fan and just adore her as she does you.  Your and Lo's bond is so neat to watch and I love seeing you guys start to play together.

You love Moose and Roxy and crawl all over them when you see them...they don't seem to mind too much.

You got your first haircut this month and did not like it at all, but you look so handsome.

You love to swing and be outside.

We love you sweet boy!
