As Mother's Day approaches, I can't help but think back to the time when I longed so very badly to be a mother. In ways it seems like it was just yesterday, and in others it seems like it was forver ago. I am still so much in awe of the precious God given gift Lo is. Every single day, I thank God for such an amazing blessing.
Being a mother is my most favorite thing, it's the best job in the world. I love being Lo's mama! This little girl has completely stolen my heart and I am so very blessed God choose me to be her mother.
This girl just loves life! She loves the little things, like being outside and playing in boxes. She also loves her mama! I love that she takes my hand and takes me to where she wants to go. She wants me by her side at all times. And I love that about her. I love that she feels comforted and safe when I am around. I love that she trusts me to protect her.
On Mother's Day this weekend, there is nothing more that I want to do than celebrate this little girl who made me a mom. I want nothing more than to hold her, or "hold you" as she tells me when she wants held, cuddle her, and just treasure the wonderful little blessing she is.
Lo made me a mama and for that I am eternally grateful.
