Mother's Day Weekend

I had a great Mother's Day!  I had a 4 day weekend and I got to spend a lot of time with the little beings that made me a mom.  On Friday, I took the kids to get haircuts.  Drew did so good!  I think it's the first time he didn't cry.

Then we went to Target and hung out at home for the day.

On Saturday, I spent the morning with the kids and then Lo and I went to Lexi's dance recital.  She did so good!

On Sunday, Andrew let me sleep in and took the kids to get me breakfast and coffee.  It was so nice to get a couple extra hours of sleep.  The kids made me the cutest gift and Lo got me a really funny card.

We played outside and I went on a run with my little sidekick.  When I told Andrew I wanted to go for a run, she immediately said she wanted to go with me.  She ran into her room and got dressed in shorts and a tank top, just like me.  She started off running as fast as she could for several houses and then hopped in the stroller. She then had me stop to pick every wildflower we saw and ran a little more.  Such a humbling reminder that our kids are watching our every move...they watch what we do, what we wear, what we eat, and what we say.  This little girl looks up to me so much, I just hope I can always be the best example for all my kids.

For dinner, we had my parents and my sister and her family over for dinner.  Andrew made delicious food and we had a great time hanging out!

Mother's Day is such a special day to me.  It seems like yesterday that I was begging God to give me just one baby.  Now, I have my hands full and my heart exploding...and I wouldn't have it any other way.  So blessed to be these babies mama!

On Monday, my sister and I took the kids to the zoo.  We went early and it was HOT!  But the kids had a lot of fun!  Drew is obsessed with the petting zoo and loves to "pet a goat."  He sat down right beside one and then tried to ride it...silly kid!
