I came to this conclusion a couple of weeks ago when I was out running in the neighborhood. I was frustrated with myself for taking so long off from running, for being lazy and not working out as much as I should, and for feeling blah and tired all the freakin time. Having something to train for will make me run and exercise. I need this in my life almost as much as I need
By using my motto, running does a body good, I have almost convinced my mom, already convinced my friend Sarah, and am working on convincing my husband to train for the half marathon in OKC on May 1st. Would you like to join us??
This weekend I decided to run on the river after work. I started out aiming for a 5 mile run, however, since the weather was so gorgeous and perfect and I felt great, I ended up running 6. It felt so good to run a semi long run! I haven't done that since the marathon. And to make it even better, half way through my run I spotted a fox sunbathing in the grass. That's right, you read it correctly, a FOX! So thankful that I run with my phone, of course I had to stop and take pictures of the gorgeous creature.
Enjoy...I sure did!
Happy Daylight Savings Time!
