Drew's First Birthday Party!

We had Drew's birthday party the weekend after his birthday.  We woke up to it snowing that am and wasn't sure many would make it, but we had a great turnout of our close friends and family.  Andrew made mac-n-cheese and hot dogs to go along with our baseball theme.  Drew had a great time at his party and crawled all over the place.

He loved his cake and just sat back in his highchair and kept shoveling it in his mouth.  It was so funny!

It was a great day celebrating our little man!

Drew is ONE!

Happy Birthday to my little man!  I cannot believe he is already one!  This year just flew by!

I just love this little man so much.  He is the sweetest, cutest, happiest little guy.  He fits right into our crazy little family and just loves us all so much.

He is his big sisters biggest fan and she still just adores him.  They are starting to play together and it is so sweet to watch.  Lo loves being a little mama and showing him how to do things.

He is cruising and climbing all over the place and into anything and everything he can be.

He loves food and never misses a meal, ever.

He loves his sleep and still takes 2 good naps a day and is sleeping around 11-12 hours at night.  As long as he has his thumb and his blankie, he falls right to sleep.

When Andrew or I get home, he is always so happy to see us and gets so excited as he crawls towards us.

He is doing great with sign language and signs "more, all done, water, eat, dog, and milk."  He can also say "dada, all done, and dog."

He loves to be held and loves to cuddle with us in the morning.  He also loves to be wild with his daddy after bath time.

On the actual day of his birthday, we celebrated as a family.  We went to eat at the hibachi grill in town and then came home and ate cake.  Drew was a big fan of the cake!

He was not a fan of taking his one year pics and cried most of the time.  We managed to get a few good ones though that caught a glimpse of his cute little personality.

Here he was telling us he was "all done!" Haha!

Christmas 2015

We had a great Christmas together as a family. On Christmas Eve Day we hung out as a family.  Andrew took Lo to the store to go shopping for me in the morning, and I took Drew to a few stores as well.  Then, Lo and I made monster cookies for Santa when they got back.

It was beautiful outside, so we played on the trampoline before naptime and then went to my parents that evening to eat dinner and let the kids play together.

When we got home we put out Santa's cookies and put the kids to bed.  Andrew and I stayed up late and finished wrapping gifts and placing them all under the tree.

Christmas morning, Lo woke up and asked if Santa came, saw all the presents and got so excited.  She loved opening presents and wanted to play with every single toy.  She was great with helping Drew open his presents as well.  She was so excited to give me the gift she picked out for me.  She handed me the wrapped present and asked me if I wanted to open up my necklace, haha.  It's the sweetest gift, the necklace says mother, daughter, friendship.  Every time I wear it she comments on my "special necklace."

After Drew took a nap, we headed to my parents house for lunch.  It was delicious and the kids had so much fun opening up more presents.  We came home for naps afterwards and then got ready to head to Andrew's Dad & Stepmoms house for dinner and...more presents.  Lo had so much fun playing with her cousins.

It was a great day, full of lots of family, lots of food, and lots of presents.  More importantly though, it was a great day to be so thankful for all of God's blessing and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
