midweek randoms

We are back from vacation...unfortunately...but it was fun!!!  We went to San Diego for a fun-filled family vacation and to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!  Post to come soon!

I can't believe we have been married 5 years!!  I have the best husband ever!  Love him so much!  What a wonderful 5 years it has been!

Little Miss Lo is so close to crawling, she actually crawls when she wants to, but seems like she would rather roll and swim all over the place instead.  I got her first official crawl on video!    Love this girl so much!

They are making more progress on our house!  Let the countdown begin...120 more days...

Saw this on instagram the other day...very fitting for me...I'm a worrier...a bad one...need to remember this!

Go Big or Go Home

Andrew and I went on our first date in 9 months.  Since sweet Lolo was born we haven't been out on a date alone.  We go on plenty of dates with our sweet daughter in tow, but due to our current place in life and my anxious crazy self, we hadn't yet ventured out alone, until this past weekend.  When I heard Garth was going to be at the Tornado Twister Relief Concert, I knew we just HAD to go.  I have seen Garth two other times, once when I was in the 4th or 5th grade and again 2 years ago in Vegas thanks to my dear friend Alex.  He is amazing in concert!  The best by a long shot!  That is why I knew that I couldn't pass up this rare opportunity to see him in person again.

My friend Abby, my former college roommate all throughout OU, volunteered to watch Lo for us while we went to the concert in Norman.  I was so thankful that someone I trusted was willing to watch her for us, while we went on our first date in a long time and saw one of countrys greatest singers of all time.

Garth and Trisha were AMAZING!  The crowd was not...

The ramp to get up to our seats was at a stand still, no one was moving and Garth was on stage.  Long story short, we went up a different ramp and stood in an aisle for about an hour watching Garth and Trisha, then we left.  And it was still AMAZING!  Even though it took us me, nine months to realize we need to go out on dates alone, I am glad our first date was this one.  One we will never forget.

And I am so thankful that we have such great friends willing to watch our baby.  She was in such great hands and had a blast!

Lolo 9 Months!

Sweet Lolo girl, you are 9 months old (July 5)!  Time is flying!  You are the sweetest, cutest, happiest little girl.  We love you so so much!  You are still so content just letting me hold you or being on the floor playing in your room.  You love your toys and play so well by yourself.  You are rolling all over the place.  Why crawl, when you can roll, right?  You are going to be crawling any day though!  You are starting to try to pull up on things.  As much as you are content, you are also very curious and want anything in your site.  You especially still love putting everything in your mouth.  You also have started waving bye bye.  It's pretty cute!

You love your books and being read to.  You also love putting them in your mouth.

You are still sleeping through the night!  And you always wake up in the happiest mood.  I think seeing you poke your little head up out of your pack-n-play as you wake up on your belly is just the cutest little sight.  You nap so well too, as long as you have your blankie.

You love your daddy and love it when he plays the guitar for you.  You get a huge smile on your face as soon as he starts playing!

You are sitting up in the bathtub all by yourself and playing with the toys and the water.

You love to eat yogurt, blueberries, strawberries, squash, broccoli, avocado, and cheese.  You pretty much love all food, except for carrots.  You don't like those.  You  love your sippy cup and love taking a drink from it and then spitting the water out all over yourself.  Little turkey ;)

You love being outside in Lexi's wagon, or in the swing.

You have started giggling when the dogs tail is near your face.

When I get home to see you from work, you always have the biggest smile on your face and occassionally squeal.  It melts my heart how happy you are to see me.

You love taking pictures with the phone where you can see yourself in the screen.  You crack up at yourself, or at me making silly faces at you.

Your cousin Lexi still refers to you as, "Her Lolo," everytime she sees you.  I think she loves you.  Actually I know she does, because everytime she hugs you she tells you she so.  It's so sweet!  You two are going to be the best of friends...I hope!

Your cousin Sean and Aunt Sue Sue came to visit you!  I'm pretty sure you had a great time!

We took you to the new children's museum in town and to the splash pad recently.  You are still a little young for them, but I think you still had fun and love getting out of the house!

Lolo, I just love you so very much.  You are the sweetest, most adorable little girl.  You have such a cute personality and are just changing so much everyday.  Waking up to your sweet face everyday is one of the best feelings in the world.  Snuggling with you at night is some of my most favorite time.  We love you sweet girl!

Lolo's 1st Fourth of July!

We had a great Fourth of July just relaxing and hanging out together.  Andrew got up early and went for an early morning bike ride, so when Lolo woke up, I decided to take her to the lake and go for a run.  She loved it!  Had a blast in the stroller people watching and being outside while I tried to run the path...Boy am I out of shape!  It was a beautiful morning though and the perfect weather!

When Andrew got home, we dressed Lolo, Lexi, and Kason up and took a few Fourth of July pics!  It sure is a challenge trying to get them all to cooperate at the same time, but Andrew got a few great ones!!

For some reason, Lexi was perfect, she normally is not wanting to sit still long enough to take pics of anymore, but she was so cute and Andrew got the most beautiful pic of her!  She looks so big and grown up these days.

And he also got the perfect pic of her silly, cute personality...I love this little girl and her orneriness!

Lo looked so cute in her little dress.  She is wanting to crawl so bad, but hasnt quite mastered it yet...soon...

It was a great day with my family!  I love days like this so much!  It's crazy to think that one year ago, we were living in Norman and I was pregnant.  Now, a year later, we have this sweet, beautiful little girl, who is 9 months old!  Time flies!
