Life Lately

We have had a great month!  We have done lots and lots of swimming and even got to visit two of my closest friends!  

 

 

 
We have spent lots of time at the neighborhood pool playing with cousins.

  

 

 

 

 

We went to the zoo.  The kids love going and Drew is obsessed with the petting zoo and I am constantly telling him not to ride the goats.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have spent a lot of time outside! 

 



 

 

 

  

 

Lo and Drew did a week of swim lessons with Mr. Kem and did so well! Lo is swimming on her own now and has become quite the fish!  Drew is floating on his back really well and even though he hates it, he does a great job!

 

 

And we enjoyed a family trip to the aquarium and Lo decided to look like she was 12...



 

  

 

 

Father's Day

We didn't go do a lot on Father's Day weekend, but I sure hope Andrew knows how appreciated he is and how great of a dad he is.  The kids and I sure do love him!  He is seriously the best daddy ever and so involved in our everyday lives!  I am impressed daily by his mad dad skills and so blessed he is ours. 

Life Lately

Our family has been kind enough to help with the kids while Andrew and I are working.  I love letting them play with their cousins and spend time with their aunts and grandparents.  I have so many great memories of growing up with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, and really want my kids to have the same. 

My sister was brave enough to watch all the kids a couple days.  I think she is secretly Mary Poppins.  They loved "Shannon school!" 

 

Andrew's mom watched the kids a couple days and Allie and her kids came over and played as well. They had a lot of fun!



Date Nights!

Andrew and I have gotten to go on two date nights two weekends in a row thanks to my parents for being willing to watch the monkeys. 

Andrew bought me tickets to see Luke Bryan and the seats and the entertainment did not disappoint!  It was so fun and such a great concert!

 

We went to Waltz on the Wild Side at the Tulsa Zoo the following weekend.  It was so much fun!!!  I will definitely be making this a yearly event.

Day of Fun!

The kids and I went to the zoo this past weekend on my day off!  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the morning before it got way too hot! Drew could live in the petting zoo and had no problems when the goat jumped up on him and hugged him.  They also love digging in the rocks and had a blast collecting the "gems."

 

 

 

 

 

 When we got home, we took naps and then played outside in the blowup pool.  It was the perfect day for it!

 

 

That evening I wanted to go for a run, and as I stepped outside to do so after putting Nora to bed, I had two little sidekicks begging to go with me.  How could I say no to that?  They now ask to go on runs with me every night.
