Lo's School Christmas Party!

I took off to go to Lo's Christmas party at school yesterday!  It is so fun being able to do things like this with her!  Andrew met me there and we enjoyed watching her make cookies, interact with her friends, and hug on her teachers.  We sure do love this school and feel so incredibly blessed that we are able to send her to such an incredible school that teaches her about Jesus. :)

One of her little friends was upset after his parents left and Lo was so sweet and walked up to him and hugged him.

I love her sweet, kind heart!

Lo's Christmas Program

Lo had her Christmas program at school and it was the cutest thing!  They had been practicing since September for the songs they were singing.  The kids were so cute and funny!  Some weren't paying attention or doing the movements, and then there was Lo, who was so precise in her singing and hand movements.  Drew was her biggest fan and would clap and say "yay!" after ever song.  It was so sweet!

We were so proud of her!

Santa

We took the kids to see Santa in November after our family pictures.  Lo had told me that she was going to sit on Santa's lap and smile for her picture.  When we got there, she looked at me and said "Mommy, I don't think I can do it."  Bless her sweet little heart.  I told her she could just stand by him and smile.  She agreed.  Nora loved Santa and just smiled away.  Then there was Drew....poor little guy.  He is still not a fan of Santa.

Our neighborhood also hosts Santa every year.  We took the kids again and Drew would not get close.  I figured that he would do that.  I thought Nora would be ok.  I wanted a picture of just her with Santa since it is her first Christmas, so I put her right on his lap and she was angry!

I can't help but laugh at these crying Santa pics.  Lo did great with this Santa and even sat on his lap.  She told him she wanted an American Girl doll for Christmas and just chatted away.  She's getting so big!

The only person Drew would go near was Mrs. Claus.  Little stinker!

Nora Sue - 9 Months

Sweet Nora Sue,

You are 9 months old!  You are still the happiest little girl!  You love to be held and be right in the middle of everything.  You love to eat and will eat anything we give you.

If we sit you down in the middle of the living room you will move to your tummy, then roll to your back, and scoot with your feet along the floor.  Lo and I call you "scooter," and just laugh at you.  I think you will be crawling soon.

You love your siblings and they love you too!  You are always smiling at your sister and she loves to talk and sing to you when you are upset.

Your brother is starting to be really sweet to you too and hugs and kisses you unprompted.

You love looking at your daddy and will get the biggest grin when he talks to you.

You are still a big time mama's girl and always want to be in my arms.

You loved Santa and just smiled away when we placed him in your lap.

We love you sweet Nora Sue!!  So very much!!
