The Weekend Before Christmas

I love lazy weekends at home with my family!  This past weekend we did just that...nothing.  Unfortunately, Andrew wasn't feeling well, but it was still a good weekend of just family time.  Lolo sported piggy tails and her very first pony tail.  So adorable!

She played with her walker, and what girl's walker isn't complete, without her purse and her phone.  Silly girl!  She's been hanging around her cousing Lexi too long.  I especially know this because she also got her Minnie Mouse dress down from hanging up in her closet and handed it to me and told me "pease."  She wanted it on.  I'm pretty sure she is used to Lexi dressing her up all the time.  Those two!  They are going to be the best of friends.

Jaxon also got to join in on the fun!  Haha!  Poor dog.

So did roxy!  Lo thinks Roxy's box is just the best toy ever and would play in it all day if we let her.  Why do we buy toys again?!

We let Lo watch an episode of Mickey Mouse when she wakes up in the morning. Yesterday morning she decided she needed to watch it sitting in a box.  Another favorite toy of hers.  Thankfully we have plenty of boxes :)

I sure loves this girl so much!  So much to be thankful for this Christmas.  So many blessings!

Walt Disney World Day 5 & 6

On Day 5, we went to Downtown Disney and shopped and hung out.  I love Downtown Disney and the cute shops so much!

On Day 6 we went to Magic Kingdom!  The best park in my opinion!  I love Magic Kingdom.  It's so magical :)  It was a great day too!  It was the least crowded, or at least it seemed that way, maybe because the park is so much bigger than the others.  We didn't wait in line for anything, not even Minnie Mouse!

We saw the princesses first!  She loved them!

Then we saw Minnie and Daisy!  Minnie's Boutique was so cute!!

We rode the Pirates of the Carribean ride first, then we did the Little Mermaid ride, which Lolo LOVED!  We also rode Winnie the Pooh and Lo had a fun time hanging out in front and playing in the "100 acre woods."

And a visit isn't complete without doing the tea cups, right?!  She seemed to like this ride too, despite the scared look on her face.

We did storytime with Belle, which I also think she really enjoyed.  It was a neat interactive story that allowed all the kids to participate.  Afterwards we walked around the shops and ate lunch.  It was a great day!  And I really think Lo enjoyed herself, which made it even better.  I can't wait to take her back!

Santa 2013!

We took Lo to see Santa twice this year.  The first time was the day after Thanksgiving.  Not a great idea, considering the fact that she was sick with a fever.  Needless to say the pic did not turn out great.  So, I took her to a local photographer here in town that was doing Santa photos at her studio.  I was a little afraid Lo was going to cry, but she didn't!  She turned her lip out, starting to, but the photographer was quick to get her attention and get her to crack a little smile for the pic!  I think it turned out so cute!

Walt Disney World - Day 4

On Day 4, we decided to go to Animal Kingdom that morning.  It was packed!  We first did the animal safari.  It's so cool how they have designed the area of the park to be like Africa and help make the animals feel more at home.  Lolo love the safari so much, she fell asleep :)  Sweet girl!

We waited in line to see Mickey and Minnie again.  Lo didn't cry this time, but she was not impressed.  When I sat her down she immediately tried crawling away, so funny!

After seeing them, she snoozed in the baby ergo and we went to watch the lion king.  Lolo slept through the entire performance and it was loud!  Lion King was great though!  I highly recommend.

We ate lunch at a little asian place.  Lo had a little food pouch and decided to squirt it ALL over her face.  It was really hard not to laugh.  Poor girl did not think it was funny.

After lunch we went to dinoland in the park and rode a ride then called it a day and headed back to hotel.

We napped and walked to the boardwalk and went shopping while Andrew worked out.  Afterwards we had dinner at the hotel and called it a night!

Walt Disney World - Day 3

Day three was pretty low key for us, I went to the Pediatric Conference and Andrew and Lo hung out around the resort.  I think Andrew had a great time having daddy/daughter time and I had a lot of fun with Misti and Ann getting free stuff from the conference!

When I got back, we took a nap, and then got ready for dinner.  We were supposed to have reservations at a different resort, but in trying to get there, we ended up in Epcot.  The park was right next to our resort and walking distance.  We walked around Epcot, met a few princesses, who Lo loved, and ate dinner in Italy.  I love Epcot. It's such a neat park and so relaxing, but it's not really for babies.

It was a fun relaxing day!  I loved going to the peds conference with my friends and getting cool free stuff and I know Andrew enjoyed his daddy daughter time.
