Chippy!

Our elf Chippy made an appearance the weekend after thanksgiving!  He brought little gifts and a gingerbread house!  Lo was so excited and loves looking for him every morning!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we hung out at home in the morning.  Lo and I baked all morning and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  We had a lot of fun preparing some desserts and sweet potato casserole.

We went to my parents that evening for dinner.  Lo had a great time playing with her cousins.

It was a great, relaxing day!

The polar express

We got tickets for the polar express the day before thanksgiving.  It was cute and a lot of fun!  Lo loves the movie, so I knew she would enjoy it.  We boarded the train with our golden tickets.  The conductor came by and punched the tickets by spelling out their names and then we were given hot chocolate and cookies.  They sang and danced and read the story on the way to the North Pole.  Then Santa came on and handed out bells.  Of course, Lo was terrified of Santa and wouldn't speak to him or the elves...maybe next year...

It was a fun little experience that we hope to do every other year with the kids.

Family pictures - Fall 2015

We took family pics this Fall with a new photographer.  The pics were at 8 am and I was a little nervous about the time, but it actually worked out great.

Drew's first haircut!

I finally took Drew to get his first haircut since his hair was constantly in his eyes.  I took him to a cute place in South Tulsa that is just for kids.  They sat him in a police car seat and put a little gown on him.  He was not a fan of the cut itself, but sure looked cute sitting in the chair.  I had her just trim it and told her I still wanted him to look like a baby.  I'm just not ready for him to have a big boy haircut yet.

Baby Drew - 10 months

Drew,

You are 10 months old!

The months are flying by and in two short months you will be one!  I can't believe it!

You are all over the place now, crawling on all fours, army crawling, rolling, sitting up, and trying to pull up.  You babble a lot and will say dada more than anything, occasionally you will say mama, but not too often, and I am pretty sure you are saying "all done," but it sounds like "ah da."  You are still the sweetest little boy and so cuddly.

You love to be held and love your mommy, daddy, and big sister.  You still eat like a little piglet and love any and all food that is placed in front of you.  You love your sleep and when you are tired you just want to be put in your crib with your blankie.  You go right to sleep, sucking your thumb and sniffing your blankie.  You went to Walt Disney World this month and were such a great baby the entire time, we are so lucky!  You got four new top teeth this month and handled them pretty well considering they all came at the same time.  We also celebrated your first Halloween this month!

You were the cutest little monkey I ever did see!

We sure do love you sweet boy!
